Construction Lawyer
Samantha Greer
I am a construction lawyer advising developers, contractors, subcontractors, and designers/architects across a broad range of projects and disputes. I have been working in the construction industry since 2015 and bring a commercially focused approach shaped by hands-on experience within major businesses. Before that, I was a litigator in Central London Courts.
I have worked in-house at Balfour Beatty PLC and the housebuilder MJ Gleeson PLC. This background gives me a practical understanding of how construction projects are delivered, the pressures clients face, and the importance of clear, effective legal solutions.
I have experience supporting projects in the UK and internationally, including in Japan, Spain, and the United States. My work covers both contentious and non-contentious matters, and I am particularly engaged in resolving disputes efficiently and pragmatically.
I act on matters of all sizes, from discrete advisory work to complex, high-value disputes and take pride in delivering straightforward, commercially sensible advice tailored to each client’s objectives.
Outside of Lyon Legal, Sam actively trades FX. She is mentored by a former Head of FX Trader from Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse. She also loves a good Audible book!
